Mr. Gimvang has been featured year after year as one of the top keynote speakers at the famed International Conference for Coatings and Technology (ICCT) in Nuremberg, Germany. As one of the world’s leading coatings and paints formulators, Mr. Gimvang has produced nearly 200 unique specialty coatings and paints formulations.
Mr. Gimvang has over 30 years experience in coatings formulations of which the last 13 have been dedicated toward intense research and development into ground-breaking Nano-Molecular (Atomic / Molecular Manipulation Chemistry). The specific intent has been to address the rampant product failures throughout the protective coatings industry and create new markets heretofore unavailable.
Mr. Gimvang was indeed successful in developing permanent and environmentally-safe solutions to meet such challenges. His success has resulted in the XUREX nano coatings which are set to be the next “frontier” in the coating industry.
In March 2005, XUREX was established to capitalize upon these broad and unique accomplishments and opportunities. The facility in Albuquerque was secured in mid 2006, with plant and equipment starting to be put together in late 2006. The plant has now been completed to the stage whereby it can produce relatively large scale quantities.
